Zvezda Sukhoi Su-25 “Frogfoot” model

The Sukhoi Su-25 (NATO reporting name: “Frogfoot“) is a single-seat, twin-engine jet aircraft developed in the Soviet Union by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. It was designed to provide close air support for the Soviet Ground Forces. The first prototype made its maiden flight on 22 February 1975. After testing, the aircraft went into series production in 1978 at Tbilisi in the Soviet Republic of Georgia. Russian air and ground forces nicknamed it “Grach” (“Rook”). During its more than 25 years in service, the Su-25 has seen combat in several conflicts. It was heavily involved in the Soviet war in Afghanistan.

From my personal perspective, this Aircraft was always a little nostalgic from the original 2001 “Operation Flashpoint” computer game and now I finally have it in my model collection. The model was from Russian manufacturer called “Zvezda”. I considered it a solid quality model, some pieces needed a little help fitting perfectly but nothing noticeable in a negative perspective.

So without any more needless words, here are the pictures.

Also if someone is interested, here are some construction pictures.
